The 4th Annual 2013 Vermont HAS Talent competition was held Saturday night at Saint Michael’s College, with a sellout crowd, and was a resounding success. Featuring 36 acts with 61 participants ages 8 – 24, it proved, once again, that Vermont HAS Talent!

Grand Prize: Matteo Palmer of Vergennes, winner of $500 Cash, and a $1,000 scholarship to the John Robert Powers Talent School in Boston
First Place, 13 - 24 age group: Trendsetterz, from Waterbury - Ernest Phillips, Kate Flaherty, McKinley Pierce, Sam Bright, Sienna Jean, Zoe Werth, Jenna Campanion, winners of $100 cash, $100 Gift Certificate to Flynn Arts, and $750 scholarship to John Robert Powers Talent School in Boston
Second Place 13 - 24 age group: Brandon Bailey and Katherine Bullock with Diane Chartrand accompanist, all from Rutland, winners of $50 Gift Certificate to Flynn Arts
First Place 8 - 12 age group: Rose Newton of St. Albans, winner of $100 in Cash, $100 gift certificate to Flynn Arts, $750 scholarship to John Robert Powers Talent School in Boston
Second Place 8 - 12 age group: Rebecca Gardner of Middlebury, winner of $50 gift certificate to Flynn Arts
1st Place Band: Townsend Revenue of Essex Junction, Tyler Herrity, Ryan Mills, Bryant Crocker, Maxim Mashrick, winners of $300 cash
