New Miss Vermont's Outstanding Teen

The new Miss Vermont’s Outstanding Teen, Caroline Jones, was named by the judges on Saturday, June 30, 2012. She is going into her junior year at Champlain Valley Union High School and is a 3 time Junior Olympic Fencing Champion. Caroline will compete for the honor of being Miss America’s Outstanding Teen in Orlando, FL August 14 – 18, representing her platform of youth community service. Caroline’s year of service to Vermont will bring her to all 14 counties. This year the Miss America Organization is teaming up with Children's Miracle Network to help kids in our community by raising much needed funds. Caroline has set a goal to raise $750.00. Money raised will benefit both Children's Miracle Network and the Miss America Scholarship Fund.
Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals.
