Miss Vermont 2026

Miss Vermont 2026 is Hannah Roque. Hannah is a native of Middlebury and a graduate of St. Michael’s College with a degree in English and Secondary Education. She is the daughter of Miss Vermont 1996 Nikki Juvan. This is the first time the daughter of a former Miss Vermont has captured the state title.

Hannah’s Community Service Initiative is centered around the risk of reducing the risk of stroke and heart disease. She founded her nonprofit Stroke Awareness Vermont, with her mother, to amplify the voices of stroke survivors and their caregivers following her stepfather’s stroke in 2018. She was awarded a $7500 scholarship, a $5,000 Ellis Strategies Public Speaking Course and was also named Miss Congeniality by her peers.

“I am so honored to be crowned as Miss Vermont 2026,” said Roque. “This has been a lifelong dream of mine, ever since I attended my first state competition at 26 days old. I am so excited to travel across the state advocating for stroke and heart disease awareness and speaking with Vermonters of all ages about how to reduce their risk factors. The Miss America Opportunity has changed my life, and I cannot wait to represent our brave little state on the Miss America stage in September.”
