Development Day 2011

The Annual Contestant Development Day, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Sheraton, Burlington - a fun and informative day jam packed full of seminars, stage walking, interviewing skills, talent development, voice, makeup and learning about being Miss Vermont or Miss Vermont Outstanding Teen! Registration is from 9 to 9:30am and the event runs until 5pm. Cost is $35.00 per person, lunch is included. Business casual attire is required. Parents are welcome to attend. Parents of Outstanding Teens candidates are encouraged to attend. Reservations are required.

Contracts will be available and we will work to help you fill them out.  We will have a notary arrive at the end of the day for signatures.

Please bring:

• A copy of your Birth Certificate
• 2 Forms of Residency Verification, with a photo copy for your contract (Drivers license, passport, learner’s Permit, 
• Dental and Health Insurance information: a copy of your insurance cards, plus bring your cards for o site verification, the address for claims for each insurance co. 
• A short paragraph including a description of your Talent, Song Title if applicable, and the lyrics, if applicable
• Your Resume - work on this ahead of time.  Your Development Director will provide the final format that day.
• Your Platform Statement - work on this ahead of time.  All contestants, Miss and OT’s are required to have a platform statement for 2011. The final format will be provided that day.
