Miss Vermont Competition Criteria

To compete you must:

• Be at least 17 by June 22, 2013, the Miss VT State Pageant
• Have lived for 6 full months in Vermont, work full time for at lease 6 full months in Vermont, or be enrolled in and attend school full time in Vermont
• Be a high school graduate, have successfully completed the GED, or have completed the academic requirements for entry into a four-year college/University degree program by July 30, 2013
• Be no older than 24 on December 31, 2013
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be single, never been married, and meet the character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization. (Contact the Miss Contestant Coordinator)
• Be in reasonably good health to meet the position requirements
• Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization, Inc
• Raise $250 for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital of Vermont through the CMN Internet web site or with local fund raisers
• Compete in all five areas below throughout the entire competition process

Scoring:

• Talent - 35%
• Interview - 25%
• Evening Wear -  20%
• Lifestyle and Fitness -15%
• On Stage Question - 5%
