The Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization, Inc. is proud to announce Katie Anne Levasseur as Miss Vermont 2011. Katie was crowned Saturday, June 25, 2011 in South Burlington, VT. She grew up in St. Johnsbury, VT, Caledonia County, and is a senior at the University of Vermont, majoring in Political Science. Katie’s Platform is Youth of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow, encouraging civic responsibility and involvement of today’s young people. Her goal is to become a Public Policy Analyst.

This year the Miss America Organization is teaming up with Children's Miracle Network to help kids in our community by raising much needed funds. Caroline has set a goal to raise $750.00. Money raised will benefit both Children's Miracle Network and the Miss America Scholarship Fund.
Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals.
